Yesterday we worked on the car for about 45 minutes. We wanted to see if we could get the car to run. It has not been run in such a long time. Surprisenly, all we need to do was put some gas in the tank, put a battery in, and jump the wire that provides the coil with power. It started right up.
We were surprised. We let it run for a few seconds and then shut it down. We then proceeded to finish pulling out the radiator, fan and fan shroud, and alternator and the belts on the front of the engine. That was the last time this engine will run in this car. It is going up for sale, as well as the automatic THM-400 Transmission. It will be replaced with most likely a Warp 11, and it will be getting a T10 4 speed standard transmission.
